Every week is a busy week at My Fish Company, but once December kicks in we are super charged and ready for our customers’ busiest time of the year.
The fish industry is incredibly complex and the team are focused on ensuring they have the right balance of stock available for customers for their festive menus and the all important Christmas Day menus!
From wild fish such as Turbot, Brill, Lemon Sole and Dover Sole through to farmed fish such as Salmon, Sea Bass, Gilt Head Bream and Trout, every day we have a wide range of fresh fish on our specials board. Our customers receive a text each morning telling them about our daily specials to ensure they don’t miss out on the best catches of the day. We also have a wide range of deli products such as Crayfish Tails, Prawns in Brine, Smoked Salmon and a great selection of frozen items from King Prawns, Coldwater Prawns, Squid, Soft shell crab…the list is endless, talk to us to find out more.
As part of the run up to Christmas we speak to all of our customers to help them secure their fish at the best time for quality, availability and price. The weather in December can be challenging and that means potential issues for boats getting out in high winds, the threat of snow scuppering transport routes and increased demand and declining supply. With over 200 years’ experience across the team our customers are in safe hands, we’ve done this before. That means we can steer customers to make timely, confident decisions and ensure they have exactly the right fish in their fridges at the right time. All of our fresh fish is prepped in house by our team to your specifications, saving you time in your busiest period.
The My Fish Company vans will be making fish and seafood deliveries across the North West, all the way up to and including Christmas Eve. We encourage our customers to talk to the team but of course our ansaphone service is available for those late night top up fish and seafood orders. We know how challenging it can be to forecast what fish you will need, we’re here to help.
